Kaizer Chiefs face Golden Arrows in Durban on Saturday, 30 August, to close out Women’s Month. Both teams eye crucial Betway Premiership points.

Chiefs Set for Golden Arrows Clash to Conclude Women’s Month

Kaizer Chiefs will close out Women’s Month with a blockbuster fixture in the 2025/26 Betway Premiership this Saturday when they travel to Durban to take on Lamontville Golden Arrows at the iconic Moses Mabhida Stadium.

The Glamour Boys have made a strong start to the new season, amassing 10 points from four matches. Their campaign includes three successive victories and a thrilling goalless draw on Wednesday night against defending champions Mamelodi Sundowns. That top-of-the-table clash at FNB Stadium attracted a roaring 75,000-strong crowd, highlighting Amakhosi’s surging form and growing support.

Golden Arrows, meanwhile, are riding a wave of confidence after their midweek win over Magesi FC, which lifted them to seven points from four games. With two wins, one draw, and a single defeat so far, Abafana Bes’thende will be determined to make the most of their home advantage in Durban. However, they will be well aware of the challenge posed by Chiefs, who traditionally draw huge fan support in the coastal city.

Chiefs coach Nasreddine Nabi, who recently returned to the country, will be relieved to approach Saturday’s showdown without any suspensions or fresh injury concerns, especially following the physically demanding clash against Sundowns.

The encounter marks the fifth round of the Betway Premiership and comes just before the first FIFA international break of the season.

Fans can expect a high-intensity battle when Amakhosi and Abafana Bes’thende lock horns at Moses Mabhida Stadium in Durban on Saturday, 30 August, with kick-off scheduled for 17:30.
