About the Role
Fidelity Services Group is seeking a motivated Health & Safety Intern to support the daily activities of their Health and Safety department. This internship offers hands-on experience in safety management, employee wellness, and organizational development within a professional security services environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in implementing organizational development and employee wellness initiatives.
- Support the development, implementation, and maintenance of health and safety programs, policies, and procedures.
- Maintain accurate records of safety and health training, incidents, inspections, and audits.
- Help investigate accidents, near misses, and incidents, implementing corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
- Coordinate and assist with safety and health training programs, including new hire orientation and refresher courses.
- Collaborate with departments to ensure compliance with safety and health regulations.
- Monitor and analyze SHE performance metrics, reporting findings to management.
- Assist in developing emergency response plans and conducting drills.
- Stay updated on industry best practices, regulations, and trends.
Minimum Qualifications & Skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and in a team setting.
- Knowledge of relevant safety and health regulations and standards.
- Ability to multitask and work under pressure.
