Graduate Analyst Opportunity – Sandton & Cape Town (Hybrid Role)

A leading global data-driven consulting firm is recruiting talented graduates to join its dynamic team as Graduate Analysts. With offices in South Africa, the UK, and Australia, the firm partners with major clients across industries such as mining, finance, retail, telecommunications, and logistics, helping them solve complex challenges through advanced analytics, data engineering, and intelligent technology solutions.

About the Role

As a Graduate Analyst, you will work closely with experienced consultants from day one, contributing to client-facing projects and helping solve real-world business problems. This hybrid position (two days in-office and three days remote) is based in either Sandton or Cape Town.

Key Responsibilities

• Support strategy development and operational improvement projects.
• Analyse data to uncover trends, patterns, and drivers of business performance.
• Build and refine financial and operational models.
• Translate complex problems into clear, actionable insights.
• Prepare client presentations and participate in team discussions.
• Conduct research on industries, markets, and competitors.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement solutions.

Minimum Requirements

• BSc Honours degree (required) in Engineering, Actuarial Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related quantitative discipline.
• Excellent academic track record with strong mathematical background.
• Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving skills.
• Curiosity and commercial awareness.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Collaborative mindset and eagerness to learn.
• Exposure to modelling, simulation, or programming is an advantage but not essential.
• South African citizenship or valid work authorisation.
