SAPS Graduate Recruitment Scheme Opens Applications for 2025

The South African Police Service (SAPS) has announced that applications are now open for its 2025 Graduate Recruitment Scheme within the Division: Technology Management Services.

The initiative forms part of the National Human Resource Development Strategy and the National Skills Development Strategy, aimed at providing unemployed graduates and students with valuable workplace exposure.

Generic Requirements

To qualify, applicants must meet the following:

• Be a South African citizen
• Hold a National Senior Certificate (NSC) or equivalent (NCV L4)
• Have no criminal convictions or pending cases
• Be unemployed and never employed in the field of the advertised post
• Never have participated in an internship programme in the relevant field
• Be a resident of the province where the post is advertised
• Apply for a maximum of three (3) posts, each with a separate application form

Internship Categories

• Graduate Intern: Requires a completed tertiary qualification
• Student Intern: Practical experience required by the tertiary institution (must submit a letter from the institution not older than two years)

Note: The stipend for each category will be determined by the Divisional Commissioner: Human Resource Development (SAPS).
